Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring efficient and effective store operations.
  • Merchandise Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimal product placement.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Authorization and Control: Authorize payments by cheque, return of merchandise, and other financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, with a proven track record of success in retail management.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, with a focus on providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, with a focus on developing and leading a high-performing team.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
