Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

**Company Overview**
Hook & Ladder Liquor Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our retail sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our store.

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a seasoned Retail Store Supervisor who can oversee the day-to-day operations of our store, manage cash handling, supervise sales staff, and maintain high standards of customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sales staff are performing at their best, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**Responsibilities**
* Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff* Assign duties and tasks to ensure effective use of time and resources* Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling* Order merchandise and stock shelves as needed* Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels* Sell merchandise and meet or exceed sales targets* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters* Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner* Organize and maintain inventory* Manage cash and reconcile discrepancies

**Requirements**
* 3-4 years of retail management experience* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong organizational and leadership skills* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing cash handling* Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg)* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
