Position Overview

As a Senior Vendor Management Consultant at National Bank, you will serve as a key authority in the realm of vendor oversight, shaping policies and strategies related to supplier governance. Your role will encompass the comprehensive management of the contract lifecycle, ensuring effective operationalization and monitoring of supplier performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle for assigned vendors to enhance the Bank's profitability.
  • Lead contractual governance and foster strategic partnerships while implementing industry best practices in supplier management.
  • Guide and influence departmental strategies to maximize supplier performance in alignment with the Bank's objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Bank and its suppliers.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with third-party relationships, particularly focusing on information security, financial evaluations, and the establishment of IT continuity plans.
  • Identify and analyze risk-related issues, evaluate their potential impacts on the Bank, and develop innovative long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of cost optimization strategies.
Your Team

Within the Vendor Management Office, you will report to the Senior Manager. Our team is characterized by its collaborative spirit, agility, and commitment to continuous improvement. We prioritize providing a flexible work environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7-10 years of pertinent experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in the banking sector, particularly in financial markets.
  • Experience in governance, performance management of third parties, contract management, and risk management.
Language Requirements

Proficiency in both English and French is essential, as you will frequently engage with service providers and partners who communicate in various languages.
