Position Overview
As a Senior Vendor Management Consultant at National Bank, you will serve as a key authority in vendor oversight, shaping policies and strategies related to supplier governance. Your role will encompass the comprehensive management of the contract lifecycle, ensuring effective operationalization and monitoring of supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle for assigned vendors to enhance the Bank's profitability.
  • Lead contractual governance initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships and implementing industry best practices in supplier management.
  • Influence departmental strategies to improve supplier performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Bank and its suppliers.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with third-party relationships, particularly concerning information security, financial evaluations, and continuity planning.
  • Identify and analyze risk-related issues, evaluating their impact on the Bank and proposing innovative, long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of cost optimization strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in the banking sector, particularly in financial markets.
  • Experience in governance, third-party performance oversight, contract management, and risk assessment.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in English and French is essential, as you will frequently engage with service providers and partners who communicate in various languages.
