About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bistro di Madre piccola Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
    • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to optimize restaurant performance.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on restaurant performance and areas for improvement.
  • Food Service Operations
    • Prepare and submit food order summaries to the chef to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands.
    • Stand for extended periods to perform duties and interact with customers.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate excellent client focus and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
