Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Mississauga. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment, and support to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing goals
  • Provide therapy sessions to individuals with a range of disorders, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and engagement in the treatment process
  • Document progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Community experience is an asset
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
  • Bilingual Preferred
