About the Role

At Ascend Recruiting Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the customs brokerage industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our organization remains competitive.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or a related field, preferably in customs brokerage or trade management.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
