About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic Assistant to join our team at 2678642 Ontario Inc. As an Automotive Mechanic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our automotive technicians in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Technicians: Provide support to our experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
  • Tool Management: Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Site Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with technicians, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform various ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a physically demanding work environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player are essential qualities for this role.
