About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Jiyash Auto Sales Ltd. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including mechanical units or components.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Estimate Costs and Provide Customer Service: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide excellent customer service to advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team setting. The ideal candidate will be accurate, have excellent oral communication skills, and be a team player.

Experience and Education

The successful candidate will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. This role is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, with a language of work being English.
