As a Teacher-Tutor at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc., you will play a vital role in guiding students towards academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction to up to three students simultaneously, ensuring each student receives personalized attention and support.
- Implement Oxford Learning's proven methodologies and philosophies, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate post-lesson notes and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
- Cultivate a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere for students to learn and grow.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field, such as mathematics, science education, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate experience teaching or tutoring math at the Grade 9 to 12 level, showcasing your ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
- Exhibit strong communication and mathematical skills, enabling you to clearly explain concepts and provide constructive feedback.
- Display exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively with multiple students simultaneously.
- Be committed to working during after-school hours, evenings, and some Saturdays, aligning with our student's schedules.
- Feel comfortable conducting in-person instruction, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning experience.
