**Location:** Royal University Hospital
**Job Description:**
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient flow on the nursing unit, ensuring efficient bed management and discharge planning.
- Advocate for patients and families, identifying supply and equipment needs.
- Assist with staff scheduling and contribute to workflow optimization.
- Five (5) years of acute care nursing experience.
- Supervisory experience is an asset.
- Three years of experience in the specific clinical area required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Nursing diploma is acceptable.
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
- Advanced leadership skills.
- Knowledge of policy and procedure development, quality assurance initiatives, and current trends/issues/perspectives of nursing in the clinical area.
- Knowledge of the role of specific clinical areas within the health system.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Provincial posting open to SUN members - SUN/SAHO CBA Articles 27.02 and 27.05.
