Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Nurse B to join our team. As a Nurse B, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on patient care and coordination. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, and that our healthcare services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling, communication, and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure that patient care needs are met.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and healthcare services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care and healthcare services.
- 3 years experience in the specific clinical area required.
- Five (5) years acute care nursing experience.
- Supervisory experience is an asset.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
- Nursing diploma is acceptable.
- Advanced - Leadership skills.
- Knowledge of current trends/issues/perspectives of nursing in the clinical area.
- Knowledge in policy and procedure development and quality assurance initiatives.
- Knowledge in role of specific clinical area within health system.
