Sales Associate

Pioneer Family Pools is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized retail floor.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Support a strong commitment to superior and genuine customer service by exerting compassion, knowledge, and empathy to all customers and associates.
- Sales: Drive sales through engaging both customers and associates with accurate and practical product knowledge.
- Lead Follow-up: Assist and follow up with online leads.
- Sales Records: Maintain sales records for inventory control and track all Pool & Spa sales into provided excel spreadsheets & Commission reports.
- Payment Collection: Collect all outstanding payments before delivery or install, manage the A/R list.
- Customer Orientation: Provide the customer a full pool & or spa orientation within Pioneer Family Pools guidelines.
- Core Values: Use Pioneer Family Pools core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly, and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers' expectations.
- Retail Floor Maintenance: Maintain at all times a clean, friendly, sales-ready retail floor that is aligned with Pioneer Family Pools Corporate guidelines & expectations. Responsible for maintaining the showroom and products; cleaning spas & pools, this includes wiping them down from dust, cleaning both the inside/outside of products, keeping the chemical room neat and organized.
- Spa and Pool Maintenance: Open and close all wet spas at the beginning of the shift; turn on lights and jets on low for waterfall at end of shift.
- Customer Advice: Advise customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive the importance of developing satisfied customers leading to online reviews, and word of mouth marketing.
- Customer Complaints: Review and track customer complaints and resolutions to ensure a high resolve rate and customer satisfaction.
- Escalated Issues: Handle complex and escalated customer service issues to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolution.
- Price Estimation: Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Merchandise Preparation:
- Sales and Contracts: Prepare merchandise for purchase. Prepare sales, contracts, and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment.
- Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
- Electronic Commerce: May conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
- Education: Completion of university degree is required.
- Sales Experience: Sales Experience (2+ years).
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated.
- Knowledge and Learning: Determined to learn, expand, and maintain knowledge of our products/services.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Time Management: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Personality: Personable and outgoing in person and on the phone.
