Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Tasks: Implement new administrative procedures, delegate work to office support staff, establish work priorities, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Reporting and Data Entry: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, and perform data entry.
- Training and Development: Train staff and oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and strong time management skills.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Please note that this is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
