Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse position at Fraser Health Authority offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organization with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients, and developing care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional care team.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, collecting information from various sources, and making nursing diagnoses to determine the best course of action.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with patients and their families/caregivers to ensure their needs are met.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery, and communicate effectively with patients, families/caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families/caregivers on health promotion, illness prevention, and health maintenance.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
