Job Title: Recovery Coordinator, Bilingual

Join our team at CWB National Leasing, Canada's largest and longest-standing equipment leasing and financing company, as a Recovery Coordinator, Bilingual. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the recovery of assets resulting from contract defaults, providing excellent customer service, and enhancing the recovery and liquidation of assets by mitigating risks and minimizing loss exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the recovery and transportation of assets with external recovery agents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as collection and debt repayment regulations.
  • Provide recovery agents with accurate and necessary information to ensure successful asset recovery.
  • Manage recovery files, analyzing and making decisions on best practices, such as recovery, write-off, and legal action.
  • Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and equipment returns, weighing risk and loss against gain.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls, in accordance with company or regulatory standards and policies.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • 2 years of experience in administration, collections, and/or financial services.
  • Business Administration diploma or equivalent training.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail, with proven experience maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Capability to think proactively and resolve problems logically and efficiently.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn other applications and programs.
  • Working knowledge of compliance laws related to collections, a strong asset.
