Job Title: Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team at Regenesis Centre for Recovery Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating on-site programming, case management, and household management, while working collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement on-site programming, including seminars, workshops, and counseling sessions, to support client recovery and well-being.
  • Provide case management services, including intake, assessments, referrals, and exit interviews, to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Assist with household management, including meal planning, preparation, and household item procurement, to promote client independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Participate as a member of the RCR team, contributing to team planning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain community-based contacts to recruit clients and build positive professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social service-related fields or healthcare.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related professional experience in Manitoba's addictions/mental health field.
  • Extensive knowledge of Manitoba's judicial and Child and Family Services (CFS) systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Turtle Island's Indigenous history, culture, customs, beliefs, and barriers within public systems.
  • Experience working within a trauma-informed care model.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract.
  • Satisfactory criminal record and prior contact check, clear child and elder abuse registry check.

Working Conditions:

  • May encounter aggressive and/or agitated client/visitors/staff.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases, blood and body fluids, toxic materials, noise, allergens, physical and emotional stress.
