Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labour Delivery Recovery team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Clinical Practice Nurse, you will provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments
  • Lead a health care team and coordinate patient care and discharge
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in professional development and education to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements
  • Recent Labour/Delivery/Recovery nursing experience or one (1) year combined mother-baby care experience required
  • Recent Operating Room nursing experience preferred
  • Current CRNM registration required
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingualism required (ability to understand and speak English/French)
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
