We are an expanding company seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to enhance our operational excellence.

Employment Type: Permanent
Shift: Afternoon – Sunday to Thursday - 11PM to 7AM
Location: Milton

The Supervisor fosters a culture of safety, employee engagement, and outstanding service within the facility. A significant portion of the Supervisor's responsibilities involves being present on the warehouse floor, guiding the team, and mentoring staff on safety protocols, service standards, and productivity enhancements. They lead and manage the warehouse team by assessing, measuring, coaching, and nurturing both individual and collective performance. Daily metrics are monitored, and operational improvements are implemented to achieve excellence, ensure a safe work environment, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee, train, provide performance evaluations, and delegate tasks to direct reports to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage operational processes including incoming and outgoing shipments, organize merchandise, and maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
  • Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to complete job assignments while keeping precise time and production records.
  • Compile and send reports to designated personnel.
  • Monitor warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate machinery and material handling equipment.
  • Address employee concerns and maintain open communication across all organizational levels.
  • Execute assigned projects as directed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

  • Experience in logistics leadership.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs; weight may vary based on facility requirements.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and shifts, including weekends as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.
