About the Opportunity

Aecon, a leading infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled HVAC Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth in the residential heating and cooling market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and size customer needs for HVAC solutions, including heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and water heaters.
  • Develop and present customized sales proposals to customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Manage inbound leads, conduct canvassing and selling to new and existing customers, and maintain a CRM database for accounts and opportunities.
  • Provide financial KPIs around pricing and margins, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • 1-5 years of sales experience or a customer-facing role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Good computer skills and industry knowledge in a sales capacity.
  • HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs is considered an asset.
  • Proven results on delivery of performance objectives and sales targets, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
