About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Core Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Planning: Prepare accurate estimates of labour and material costs for residential construction projects.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Woodworking and Fabrication: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to meet project requirements.
  • Maintenance and Renovation: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including residential homes, industrial plants, and other facilities.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Maintain a high level of reliability and punctuality in meeting project deadlines and commitments.
  • Work Term and Hours: Work on a permanent basis, with a standard workweek of 35 hours.
