About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Delta Framing & Renovation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and installation of wood structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building frames in accordance with building codes and specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create sturdy and durable structures.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a solid and secure base for our clients' homes and buildings.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate existing wood structures, including residences, wooden buildings, and other establishments, to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in framing and carpentry.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company.
  • 40 hours per week of work, with occasional overtime required to meet project deadlines.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.

As a Framing Carpenter with Delta Framing & Renovation Ltd., you can expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and meet tight deadlines, but you will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and expertise.
