About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Carpet Colour Centre (Red Deer) Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them accurately, and prepare them for installation.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Install Flooring: Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces, using knee kickers and other equipment as needed.
  • Remove Existing Floor Coverings: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to ensure a clean and smooth installation process.
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Work Setting: Commercial and residential settings.
