Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Cobs Bread. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality baked goods and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a baking role.
Work Environment
  • Location: Bake shop setting.
  • Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for various baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries, following established recipes or custom orders.
  • Order and manage necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake and monitor mixed dough and batters to ensure optimal quality.
  • Train and supervise staff in food preparation and safety practices.
  • Decorate and frost cakes and other baked products to meet presentation standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate baking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Prepare special dishes for customers with dietary restrictions.
