Electrical Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance technicians have the necessary tools, parts, and supporting documents to complete scheduled work orders in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production.
- Utilize computer-based maintenance planning and scheduling software to prioritize work and allocate resources.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians and other stakeholders to ensure that work orders are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis to identify and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Develop and maintain job plans, work instructions, and other documentation to support maintenance activities.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Practical experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based maintenance planning and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
