Electrical Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance technicians have the necessary tools, parts, and supporting documents to complete scheduled work orders in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production.
- Utilize Reliability Excellence (RE) corporate and enterprise/group guidelines and procedures to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians on maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis to identify and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- 2 years' experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance principles, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License.
