Senior Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Buildings practice in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of mechanical systems for various projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project designs, conduct site visits, and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and documentation for construction drawings and permits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance design capabilities.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong background in building systems and HVAC design.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
