We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Amica Senior Lifestyles. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our community, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise community staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and service.
- Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and programs to drive growth and success.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budget requirements and ensure effective financial management.
- Lead the marketing plan development and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct tours of the community to families, potential residents, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and develop high-potential performers, ensuring succession planning and leadership development.
- Certificate in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of senior management experience in the hospitality field or retirement community.
- Experience in a residential care setting, with education in gerontology an asset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
