About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Amica Senior Lifestyles. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our community, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise community staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and service.
  • Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and programs to drive growth and success.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast budget requirements and ensure effective financial management.
  • Lead the marketing plan development and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct tours of the community to families, potential residents, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop high-potential performers, ensuring succession planning and leadership development.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of senior management experience in the hospitality field or retirement community.
  • Experience in a residential care setting, with education in gerontology an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
