About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Manos Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Supervise and Train Staff

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain accurate records of stock, and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and safety in the kitchen, including food handling, preparation, and presentation, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Prepare Reports and Budgets

Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and labor costs, and develop and manage budgets to ensure the efficient use of resources.

Address Customer Concerns

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

40 hours per week is required.
