Job Summary:

Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Banking Professional to join our Healthcare Investment Banking team in Canada. As a key member of our Coverage team, you will be responsible for managing our global business relationships with large multinational clients in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of a selective portfolio of Large Cap Corporate accounts in the healthcare industry
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive deal flow and cross-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate with key business lines within SGCIB and outside of SGCIB to generate revenue growth
  • Prepare and present business cases and client profitability analysis to senior management
  • Conduct advanced Excel modeling and profitability analysis for prospective transactions
  • Special sector studies and corporate finance data gathering as needed
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of prior work experience in investment banking, corporate banking, corporate finance, transaction services, asset management, or consulting
  • Strong financial accounting and corporate finance skillset
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Proficient in computer-based research tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters)
  • Knowledge of bank products (can be learned over time)
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
