We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at CHAMELEON PAINTING LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters and decorators in delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Paint Application: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and cleaning equipment and tools.
- Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping activities to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Equipment and Machinery: Experience with roller painting and brush painting.
- Transportation: Willing to travel and relocate.
- Work Setting: Various locations, including new construction and construction company settings.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
