About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Research Technician to join our team at Specific Biologics Inc. as a key member of our laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses to support research and development initiatives.
  • Conduct microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses to ensure high-quality results.
  • Set up and conduct biochemical tests and laboratory analyses to support research and development initiatives.
Technical Requirements
  • Experience with tissue and cell techniques, biochemical and molecular techniques, and gene sequencing and cloning.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory testing and analysis, cultures and samples preparation, and applied research.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a laboratory setting with a focus on biological research and development.
  • Use safety equipment such as safety glasses/goggles and gloves to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, cell biology, genetics and molecular biology, or biotechnology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in biological research and development.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
