We are seeking a highly skilled MQ-9B Instructor Pilot to join our team at CAE Inc. As an MQ-9B Instructor Pilot, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to aircrew students, ensuring they meet the required standards for operating the MQ-9B aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver joint Pilot and Sensor Operator (SO) MQ-9B course incorporating theory, synthetic, and live phases.
- Provide Pilot subject matter expertise (SME) support to the Mission Intelligence Coordinator (MIC) course.
- Contribute to the development of courseware and teaching aids.
- Liaise and contribute to student course scheduling.
- Perform occasional travel in support of the project.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with writing and amending multi-media instructional courseware.
- Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards.
- Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or on a valid Work Permit.
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Physically able to perform all instructional tasks in a live and synthetic setting.
- Previous experience as a Pilot Instructor on an MQ series platform.
- Manned aircraft Instrument rating.
- Launch and Recovery experience.
- Exposure to Signals intelligence.
- Exposure to Automatic Identification System (AIS).
- Experience as a Standard Unit or Central Flying School member.
- Over 300 formal instructional hours.
- Non-RPAS military aviation experience.
