Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at the University of Saskatchewan. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define management and strategic reporting requirements.
- Develop report and data visualization prototypes to validate requirements.
- Design, develop, and test extract-transform-load (ETL) processes to integrate data into the institutional data warehouse.
- Monitor and troubleshoot nightly ETL jobs to resolve performance or data load issues.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.
- Develop and post documentation for customized tasks, procedures, and services related to your work.
- An undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Five years of solid experience with data integration, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies such as SQL Server.
- Strong experience in ETL development using tools such as SSIS or Fabric.
- Strong experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as SSRS and Power BI.
