Job Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our team in Northeast Ontario. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for implementing business development strategies, analyzing customer needs, and developing relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement business development strategies for a targeted territory
  • Analyze active and potential customers and set up an action plan specific to their needs
  • Increase market share by offering our complete degree solution
  • Strengthen the team's commitment towards common goals
  • Develop and maintain exemplary relationships with customers, partners, colleagues, and vendors
  • Optimize customer profitability through various initiatives
  • Develop strategies for new contracts and renewals
  • Resolve OHS challenges of clients by proposing innovative solutions through a consultative approach

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals
  • Passion for excellence, strong desire to succeed, and commitment to personal and professional development
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with disciplined planning and execution abilities
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a self-starting autonomous environment from a home office setting
  • Desire to grow as a leader within SPI
  • Proven ability to sell high, deep, and wide in customer organizations
  • Successful leader through direct and/or indirect leadership

What We Are Looking For

  • Consultative seller
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive experience and contacts to match within a wide range of markets
  • Experience with Health and Safety products and solutions a definite plus
  • Someone who can travel
  • Valid driver's license
