Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for tracking prototypes in the field, communicating with farmers, and ensuring regular maintenance is conducted.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and service information to equipment operators
  • Troubleshoot equipment on site or coordinate with the R&D Supervisor to send out repair personnel
  • Compile and report on prototype activities, including machine hours, failures, maintenance, and modifications
  • Review and record failure claims, report, and track all failure issues
  • Compile feedback from operators and communicate with relevant departments for resolutions
  • Assist and provide support for testing, R&D shop, or Engineering teams as needed
  • Be on call during peak season for after-service calls from Dealers
  • International travel may be required
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience with farm equipment or similar large equipment
  • Journeyman Mechanic/Mechanical Technologist Certificate or similar background preferred
  • Good knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong report writing skills, comfortable with Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving skills, comfortable providing technical advice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold a valid driver's license and passport
