Project Manager Role Overview

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead our project delivery efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution - Develop and execute project plans, including project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  2. Progress Reporting - Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and action items.
  3. Launch Coordination - Coordinate project launches, including activity timetables, sign-off dates, and emergency contact information.
  4. Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements

  1. 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with cross-functional teams.
  2. Strong communication and reporting management skills, with experience in marketing-focused projects.
  3. 3+ years of experience delivering large-scale technology and business application solutions.
  4. Experience with project management tools, including Workfront, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  1. Experience with website-build projects.
  2. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise.
  3. PMP/PMI/Agile/CSM/CAPM certification.
  4. PM experience from financial institutions.

Soft Skills Required

  1. Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
  2. Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Results-focused with a collaborative mindset.
  4. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  5. Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or technical fields such as computer science or engineering. PMP/PMI/Agile/CSM/CAPM certification.
