This position requires effective leadership to inspire a team of food service professionals and a collaborative approach with the marketing department to enhance the restaurant's visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and its personnel
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all dining areas and equipment
- Establish procedures aimed at maximizing guest satisfaction
- Mentor and develop team members for improved performance
- Administer budgets and project future revenue
- Engage in menu development and service enhancements
- Monitor inventory and manage expenditures
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements
- Address guest concerns and drive food and beverage promotions
- Work with the People & Culture Manager on staffing strategies
- Recruit and nurture talent within the team
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in food service management
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Certifications required: Food Safe & Serving it Right
- Hepatitis A vaccination is advisable
