We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team. This hybrid role involves mostly virtual work with occasional in-person appointments. The ideal candidate will practice from an anti-diet, weight-inclusive lens and support clients of all ages in their recovery journey. At Healing Recovery Centre, you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to tailor treatment plans that work best for each individual and their family. We treat the person, not the illness, and provide the resources and encouragement needed for clients to take their recovery into their own hands.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one nutrition counseling to individuals and families using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
- Offer virtual and in-person availability through our clinic
- Complete documentation, scheduling and billing responsibilities in accordance with college and clinic requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members effectively
- Attend monthly team meeting and clinical supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and understanding towards clients' diverse backgrounds and experiences
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices
