Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing excellent care to a diverse acute medical patient population in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, utilizing your knowledge of anaesthesiology and basic hemodynamic principles.
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure seamless patient flow and quality care.
- Participate in the CRTO's Quality Assurance Program and maintain current knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- RRT registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists in the General Class.
- Minimum 2 years recent critical care experience, with multi-service Operating Room experience within the last 5 years preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in arterial line insertion and BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
