Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing excellent care to a diverse acute medical patient population in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Utilize your expertise in anaesthesia equipment operation, hemodynamic principles, and critical care to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Participate in the CRTO's Quality Assurance Program, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and patients.
- Contribute to a culture of interprofessional teaching and learning, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- RRT registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists in the General Class.
- Practice according to the standards and guidelines set out by the College.
- Minimum 2 years recent critical care experience, with a preference for multi-service Operating Room experience within the last 5 years.
- Demonstrated competence in arterial line insertion, BCLS, and ACLS certification.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
