About UAP Inc.

UAP Inc. is a dynamic financial organization seeking a skilled Treasury Specialist to support our team's operations. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth management of our treasury functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Banking Operations: Record and reconcile daily transactions, analyze cases, and conduct research to ensure effective customer service and communication with our stakeholders.
  • Daily Cash Management: Prepare transfers between bank accounts, purchase foreign currencies, and process payments from the banking platform.
  • Monthly Reconciliation: Reconcile check, wire, and electronic transfer payments, payroll reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and consumption tax declarations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with service providers and banks to ensure customer service and support operations.
  • Financial Audit and Compliance: Participate in financial audit and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) internal control audit.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement and automation projects.
  • Business Growth: Support UAP Inc. group growth by opening and closing bank accounts following company acquisitions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across Canada in your role.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Diploma (DEP) with 5 years of experience or Accounting Diploma (DEC) with 2 years of experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English) in verbal and written communication.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
