Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to join our dynamic financial team at UAP Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to our treasury operations, ensuring the smooth management of cash and financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of banking transactions, perform cheque deposits, and related journal entries.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct daily cash management to meet operational needs, including preparation of transfers between bank accounts, purchases of foreign currencies, payment preparations, and payment of installments.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform monthly reconciliations of payment issues, payroll reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and consumption tax declarations.
  • Customer Service: Communicate regularly with service providers and banks to provide exceptional customer service and support operations.
  • Compliance and Audit: Participate in the conduct of financial audits and the audit of internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement projects and automation of certain tasks to enhance treasury operations.
  • Business Growth: Support the growth of UAP Inc. by opening and closing bank accounts following business acquisitions.
Requirements
  • DEP in accounting with 5 years of experience or DEC in accounting with 2 years of experience.
  • Bilingualism, French and English.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
