Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Operations Specialist to join our dynamic financial team at UAP Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to our treasury operations, ensuring the smooth management of cash and financial transactions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of banking transactions, perform cheque deposits, and related journal entries.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis and reconciliation of payment issues, payroll reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and consumption tax declarations.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with service providers, banks, and internal stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Compliance: Participate in the conduct of financial audits and internal control reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation of tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Business Growth: Support the growth of UAP Inc. by opening and closing bank accounts for business acquisitions and other financial transactions.
Requirements
  • DEP in accounting with 5 years of experience or DEC in accounting with 2 years of experience
  • Bilingualism, French and English
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
