Position Overview:



The Enterprise Solutions Architect is pivotal in defining our organization's technological and business strategies. This position is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions that tackle intricate technological and business challenges, aligning with our short- and long-term objectives. The solutions will encompass various business lines and enterprise-wide implementations, particularly focusing on innovative and complex data systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate detailed solution architecture plans and designs that align with business objectives and enhance existing systems. Lead solution architecture design sessions with both business and technical teams, documenting and articulating solution designs for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory, enterprise architecture, and data management standards to mitigate risk.
  • Analyze business drivers and capabilities (current and future) to determine corresponding enterprise solution design and change requirements, driving targeted business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to devise short- and long-term solution strategies, assessing existing technology environments to identify and rectify critical deficiencies. Propose technical architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks while recommending new technologies to enhance current systems.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between technical teams and business units. Manage expectations to guide stakeholders toward optimal solutions, translating technical concepts into understandable language to foster consensus among non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, establishing best practices in architectural design and frameworks. Oversee project delivery to ensure alignment with business goals, promoting innovation and serving as the technical authority during key project decisions.
  • Engage in solution governance as a member of the Solution Architecture Review Committee when necessary.
  • Conduct technical risk and vulnerability assessments as part of the solution architecture process, identifying operational, financial, security, brand, industry, and regulatory risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement integrated enterprise solutions focused on information management, ensuring seamless data flow across diverse platforms and applications. Evaluate and integrate new systems into the existing ecosystem, optimizing system performance through continuous enhancements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science with 7 - 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Financial/Banking sector.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, with experience in cloud computing platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • Familiarity with core banking platforms, digital banking platforms, and open banking standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes, with a strong understanding of information architecture principles and modeling techniques.
  • Experience in designing data models using various architecture patterns and tools.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles and secure design practices is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with various project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business requirements into viable solutions.
