Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server at Baron's Bistro, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure you are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly at customers' tables.
  • Billing: Present bills to customers and accept payments in various forms including cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Wine Expertise: Advise customers on menu selections and wine pairings, showcasing your knowledge of our wine offerings.
  • Customer Engagement: Greet patrons warmly, present menus, and address any inquiries regarding food and beverages.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain stock of wines and wine glassware, ensuring availability for service.
  • Sensory Evaluation: Perform sensory evaluations of wines to ensure quality and selection.
  • Order Management: Take customer orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service throughout the dining experience.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in the hospitality industry.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Availability to work between 35 to 40 hours per week.
