Job Title: Roofers and Shinglers Supervisor

At ONTARIO INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofers and Shinglers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of our roofers and shinglers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of roofers and shinglers to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our roofing team.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgeted amounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and provide technical guidance.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting project achievements and challenges.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in roofing or a related field, with a proven track record of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
