About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team at Devoted Studios. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technological strategy that drives our platform's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to our development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Platform Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality for our game development platform.
  • Team Management: Lead and grow a high-performing development team, including software developers, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Architecture and Design: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications using Symfony, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies.
  • Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and execute development projects while meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years of experience in leading high-performing development teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and management.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Symfony, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies, including a deep understanding of their core concepts, best practices, and ecosystem.
  • Architecture and Design Skills: Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure web applications using Symfony, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience with project management methods (like Agile and Scrum) and tools, including planning, prioritizing, and completing development projects on time.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in building and leading high-performing development teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Symfony, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies, including a deep understanding of their core concepts, best practices, and ecosystem.
