Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, cashiers, and other store staff to ensure that our store is running smoothly and that our customers are satisfied.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Training and Development: Train and develop our sales associates and other store staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced retail environment, where you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Physical Capabilities: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: We are looking for a team player who is client-focused, flexible, organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
