GVA Lighting, a leading Canadian lighting manufacturer with a global presence, is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Lighting Product Marketing Manager to drive the strategic marketing efforts for our existing product portfolio and future new products.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand the architectural lighting industry, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Develop marketing strategies to position GVA Lighting's products effectively within the market.
  • Create clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that highlight the unique value propositions of GVA Lighting's products.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication of the product's value proposition to target customers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the architectural lighting market.
  • Develop strategies to position GVA Lighting's products against competitors effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for product launches and updates.
  • Oversee the execution of GTM plans, coordinating efforts across marketing, sales, and other relevant departments.
  • Create and manage marketing collateral, sales materials, product documentation, and other marketing assets that showcase GVA Lighting's products effectively.
  • Collaborate to develop engaging content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales tools, training, and resources to enhance their product knowledge and selling capabilities.
  • Provide product training and support to the sales team to improve product understanding and sales efficiency.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand customer preferences and perceptions of GVA Lighting's products.
  • Utilize customer insights to drive product improvements and tailor marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural lighting industry (lighting design, specification, lighting product management, product design, marketing, and engineering sales)
  • Lighting savvy (good technical lighting knowledge, LC, CLD certifications are an asset)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics platforms, MS Office, and ERP systems.
